Question Can I swap the PSU power supply power cord

I need a PSU power cord 1-2 feet longer. Can I just get one off Amazon or does it matter the quality? Just bought a 1000w Platinum PSU but not sure if the power cord that goes to the outlet matters.

Yes, you can safely swap the cable that connects the PSU to the outlet. Just make sure it has the same rating (written on the original power cord if you look closely), or better, than what you have now.

You could also use an appropriate extension cord or power strip to gain the additional length.
