Does anyone have experience with the new Antec CSK DC 650W? According to SPL's new PSU tier list, it's rated C and similar to the MSI Mag A650bn; however, other CSK models are rated very poorly, so I'm cautious about a new budget PSU. I haven't heard anything about it online, so I assume it doesn't catch fire or anything, but it's cheaper than other C-rated models. Hoping to use it in a new build, so any help or information would be appreciated!

Well, Tier E Antec CSK units are all group-regulated. But the "new" CSK is DC-DC regulated, while having the similar platform (i doubt that the platform is identical since it has different OEM). Still, when underlying platform is bad, just switching PSU's regulation doesn't make the PSU good.

Full specs of the new build + total budget?

but it's cheaper than other C-rated models
Since PSU powers everything, it is the most important component inside the PC.
Hence why NEVER cheap out on PSU! Also, never buy used PSU either.

So, look for at least Tier B from SPL's list.
E.g CM MWE Gold 750 V3 is Tier B+,

The PSU us not a place to look for budget parts.
The Antec has a 5 year warranty but a quality psu will have 7,10 or more years warranty.
Also, minimum wattage is not good. Look fora psu strong enough to handle a following upgrade.
The difference in price between 650w, 750w and 850w is usually not that big.

All said, though, Antec has been making decent power supplies for a long time.
